The Algiers conference on partnership, security and development reaffirms the region’s commitment to combat terrorism and the requirement of development in the Sahel

As the conference proceedings came to a close yesterday, Algeria’s Minister Delegate for Maghreb and African Affairs Abdelkader Messahel declared that “the Algiers conference has enabled the countries of the region of the Sahel to demonstrate to their extra-regional partners that they have a real strategy and a shared vision in the fight against terrorism, organized crime, and poverty.”

Si les USA soutiennent «le processus de réformes politiques dans le monde arabe», il n’en reste pas moins vrai que Washington estime que "chaque régime politique nécessite des changements propres, selon la conjoncture". C’est ce qu’a affirmé hier son ambassadeur en poste à Alger.

US reaffirm "solid relation" with Algeria

The United States reaffirmed Monday their "solid relation" with Algeria and reiterated their condemnation of the terrorist attach perpetrated Friday against Military Academy in Cherchell.
