Meeting with Senator Richard G. Lugar

 

On January 9, 2009, Ambassador Abdallah Baali met with Senator Richard G. Lugar, Ranking Minority Member of the US Senate Committee on Foreign Relations.

Ambassador Baali and Senator Lugar discussed the relations between Algeria and the United States, and means to strengthen the bilateral cooperation, as well as the situation in the Maghreb and in Africa. Ambassador Baali briefed Senator Lugar on the political and economic situation in Algeria.
