On March 13, 2013, Ambassador Abdallah Baali met with Senator James Inhofe (R-Oklahoma), Ranking Minority Member of the Senate Armed Service Committee.

During this meeting, Messrs. Baali and Inhofe expressed their satisfaction with the reinforcement of the relations between Algeria and the United States as illustrated by the launching of the U.S. Algerian Strategic Dialogue on October 19th 2012.

Ambassador Baali took also this opportunity to brief extensively Senator Inhofe on the situation prevailing in northern Mali as well as in the region.
