NOTICE TO THE COMMUNITY
Pursuant to Article 3.10.1 of Appendix 9 of the Chicago Convention by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), the Embassy of Algeria in Washington hereby informs Algerian citizens who are duly registered with its Office of Consular Affairs that, with the agreement of the Secretariat General of the ICAO, our country has been authorized to continue to issue until November 24, 2011, passports of the current model with a validity period of four (04) years, until all conditions favorable to issuance of biometric passports are met.
