In preparation for the coming changeover to electronic biometric passports and in view of the implementation of this major operation, the members of the Algerian community living in the United States are hereby urged to seek the renewal or extension of passports which will expire prior to September 30, 2010.

The operation will be conducted according to the following schedule:

Algeria Guide Book

Among its efforts aimed at promoting our country’s image, the Embassy of Algeria has recently designed and published an “Algeria Guidebook”.

With 2,000 English-version hard-bound copies printed, this beautifully illustrated volume aims at disseminating better, accurate and up-to-date information on the history and culture of Algeria, as well as highlighting the country’s touristic potentialities and achievements in the areas of economic reforms and national reconciliation.

Publication of this “Algeria Guidebook” was made possible thanks to contributions from several Algerian corporations and numerous American companies operating in Algeria.
