NOTICE TO THE COMMUNITY

The Embassy of Algeria in Washington is pleased to announce that the digitizing operation of consular data of the members of the community registered with the Consular Section, undertaken to modernize and streamline delivery of consular services, was completed on March 28, 2011, within deadline and in fulfillment of the commitment made by the Embassy a year ago.

From now on, the file digitizing operation and a databank and Intranet system that have been fully operational for more than a year will enable the Consular Section to process with greater diligence and efficiency requests for service by our citizens, whom the Embassy thanks for their patience and their understanding.

The Embassy is committed to continuing the improvement of its consular services and to remaining attentive to the needs of the Algerian community living in the United States.

COMMUNIQUE

L’Ambassade d’Algérie à Washington est heureuse d’annoncer que dans le cadre de la modernisation et de la rationalisation des services consulaires, l’opération de numérisation des dossiers consulaires de l’ensemble des ressortissants immatriculés auprès de la section consulaire a été achevée le 28 mars 2011, conformément au calendrier arrêté et aux engagements pris il y a un an.

Avec la banque de données et le système intranet pleinement opérationnels depuis plus d’un an et la numérisation des dossiers, la section consulaire sera, désormais, en mesure de traiter avec plus de diligence et d’efficacité les demandes des ressortissants qu’elle remercie pour leur patience et leur compréhension.

L’Ambassade s’engage à poursuivre l’amélioration des services consulaires et de rester à l’écoute des besoins de la communauté algérienne aux Etats- Unis.
