WHERE DO I APPLY FOR MILITARY EXEMPTION? |

Presidential Decisions for Exemption Applications must be made to the Embassy of Algeria to the United States of America with the following documents:
1.  Application / Fiche de Renseignements Service National
2. Original full birth certificate.
3. Two (2) pictures
4. Work certificate or Studies certificate
5. Copy of the Consular card Deferment 1. Application / Fiche de Renseignements Service National
2. Two (02) Pictures
3. Birth Certificate
4. Studies certificate for the current year.
5. Copy of the Consular card
Exemption for medical reasons
If you are applying to be exempted from the National Service on the basis of a medical condition, please provide the following documents:
1. Application / Fiche de Renseignements Service National
2. Medical Certificates
3. X-rays (if any)
4. Results of specialized medical tests
5. Surgical operation protocol
6. Clinical resume of the illness
7. Hospitalization certificates
5. Copy of the Consular card Exemption for social reasons 1. A letter addressed to the Ministry of National Defense.
2. Two recent photographs,
3. A family record of civil status (for those who are married),
4. Copy of diplomas if any,
5. Work Certificate,
6. Family record of civil status for the parents,
