It has come to the attention of the Embassy that a significant number of applications submitted to the Office of Consular Affairs are incomplete, thus impeding normal processing and generating consequences likely to hamper travel arrangements by applicants and their dependents. In order to correct the situation, the Embassy draws the attention of our compatriots on the need to apply early enough to allow for timely processing of document renewal and to strictly observe the instructions posted to that effect on the Embassy website (http://www.algeria-us.org ). Incomplete applications will be returned to sender at sender’s cost. Furthermore, our compatriots are strongly advised to keep the Embassy informed of any change of address and telephone number(s) and to include an email address where they can be reached, thereby allowing the Embassy to contact them should the need arise.
