Troops performing Ahellil-style songs on the second day of the fourth Ahellil Cultural Festival contributed in the party atmosphere created in Timimoun (Adrar, 1543 km south-east of Algiers) by the event.

The cultural atmosphere will continue at the cultural centre of Timimoun, with papers on the intangible heritage of Ahellil, its preservation and development following its designation as a universal heritage in 2005 by UNESCO (the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization). Several researchers as well as cultural and literary figures, interested in the region's heritage, will give talks, including Rachid Bellil, from the National Centre for Studies and Researches in prehistory, and author of "Ahellil Heritage."
