Algerian competences living in the United States are hereby informed that the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the State Secretary in charge of the National Community Living Abroad, in partnership with the Algerian Competences Association (ACA), are convening in Biskra a Winter University from December 24 to 29, 2011, at the Mohamed Khider University.

In that respect, national competences are invited to submit training course proposals intended for lab managers, directors of research centers and institutes, as well as research managers and managerial staff.

The curriculum will cover concepts and tools for management, leadership, human resources development, strategic planning and lab and research center management, promotion of innovation, creation of incubators and launching spin-offs.

Interested applicants who meet requirements for participation in this year’s Winter University program are invited to submit by October 30, 2011, a résumé or short bio, including relevant contact information, along with the title, contents and objectives of the proposed course emailed to the Cultural Service of the Embassy at cultural.service@algeria-us.org This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
