US Construction & Infrastructure Mission to Algeria, November 14-19, 2009
The Algerian Embassy in Washington, DC and the US-Algeria Business Council are delighted to announce the organization of the 2009 US Construction & Infrastructure Mission to Algeria (November 14-19, 2009). A mission which will include US companies active in construction, water resources, high-technology, transportation and other utilities.
Besides granting the US delegation the opportunity to participate at the 7th International Civil Work Expo Edition scheduled to be held in Algiers (November 16th-19th, 2009), we will organize, on November 15th, 2009, a one day conference on the Algerian infrastructure sector and arrange work meetings for the US delegates with the Ministers of the Algerian following sectors (Public Works, Housing and Urbanism, water resources, and transportation) as well as with the Algerian relevant companies leaders.
During the 2009 Algiers construction Trip, the US participating companies will have the opportunity to stand their own pavilion at the 2009 Algeria Public Works Expo. They’ll benefit, in this regard, from featuring exhibit space, meeting space and staff support including translation.
The guests at the 2009 Algeria Civil Works Expo and the US-Algeria Infrastructure Conference will include Algerian Government Officials as the Honorable Ministers of Civil Works, Water Resources, Housing and Urbanism, Industry & Investment, as well as Algerian media figures, buyers from the public and private sector, contractors, engineers, bankers, financers, customs officials, and lawyers. Several countries will host pavilions exhibiting their products and services at the Algiers expo and the U.S.A.
Pavilion will be one of the most visited sections. This annual conference is the premiere location to meet buyers, government officials and local contractors active in the infrastructure sector in Algeria.
Participating in the 2009 US Mission to the Algeria Civil works Expo is also a great opportunity to learn about the contracting process in Algeria and to learn about upcoming tenders.
